Refund Policy
Subscription Refunds
droPrompt offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment for any paid plan (Standard, Elite, or Pro).
If you subscribe and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund of that initial payment within 7 calendar days of the charge date. No explanation is required, and you will receive your money back in full.
This guarantee applies to your first payment only. Subsequent renewal payments are not eligible for refund under this guarantee, though you may cancel at any time to stop future billing (see Section 4).
How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps:

Submit your request Visit our contact page and send us a message with the subject "Refund Request". Include the email address associated with your account and the date of the charge.

We confirm receipt We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and confirm whether it meets our refund criteria.

Refund is processed Approved refunds are issued within 3–5 business days. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

Funds appear in your account Depending on your card issuer or bank, it may take an additional 2–5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement after we process it.
Non-Refundable Situations
While we aim to be fair, the following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Refund requests made more than 7 days after the payment date
- Renewal payments (second payment onwards on any plan)
- Partial months or unused days remaining in a billing period after cancellation
- Cases where a significant number of prompts have already been used in the billing period
- Accounts found to have violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Refund requests made after a previous refund has already been issued for the same account
If you have extenuating circumstances not covered here, please contact us — we handle all cases with care and common sense.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your droPrompt subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation is immediate and requires no paperwork or support request.
What happens when you cancel:
- You will not be charged for any future billing periods
- You retain full access to all features of your current plan until the end of your paid billing period
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the free tier at the end of the billing period
- Your saved prompt history is preserved for 30 days after downgrade, giving you time to re-subscribe or export
Cancelling your subscription does not automatically trigger a refund. If you also wish to request a refund, please follow the process in Section 2.
Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or do not recognise a charge from droPrompt, please contact us immediately before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer.
We can usually resolve billing concerns quickly and directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.
All payment processing is handled securely by our payment provider. If a dispute is filed through your card issuer, we will provide transaction records to assist in the resolution process.
Consumer Rights
droPrompt respects and upholds your rights as a consumer under Egyptian law. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018
Under this law, you are entitled to accurate and clear information about services before purchase, the right to fair treatment, and protection from misleading commercial practices. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) at cpa.gov.eg.
If you have a concern that our policies do not address, we encourage you to reach out to us directly before seeking external remedies. We are committed to resolving all issues fairly.
