Setup (takes a minute)
  1. Copy your Pro Key Tap Copy in the box above so your key is on the clipboard, ready to paste in a second.
  2. Tap Add Shortcut It opens in your Shortcuts app. Scroll down and tap Add Shortcut to install it.
  3. Run it once and paste your key The very first time you run the shortcut, it'll pop up a box asking for your Pro Key. Paste it in and tap Done. The shortcut remembers it from now on — you'll never be asked again.
  4. Pick how you'll launch it iPhone / iPad: open Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Triple Tap and pick droPrompt Enhance. Three taps on the back of your phone runs it.

    Mac: open the Shortcuts app → right-click droPrompt Enhance → Add Keyboard Shortcut (e.g. ⌃⌥⌘E). You can also pin it to the menu bar from the same right-click menu.
Using it day to day
  1. Write your idea in any AI app ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notes, Mail — anywhere you can type. Select all → Copy (⌘C on Mac, long-press Copy on iPhone).
  2. Trigger the shortcut iPhone: triple-tap the back of your phone. Mac: hit your keyboard shortcut. You'll see a small banner: "Enhanced! Paste it back."
  3. Paste and send ⌘V on Mac, long-press → Paste on iPhone. Your better prompt is in. Hit send.

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every signed-in account gets 2 free shortcut runs — enough to see how good the output is before you decide. After that, Pro unlocks unlimited runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Which AI apps does it work with?
All of them. The shortcut produces a universal, polished prompt that works in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok — anywhere you paste it. No model picking, no settings to change.
Why doesn't it replace my text directly inside ChatGPT?
Apple apps can't reach into each other's text fields — that's an Apple security rule on both iOS and macOS. So the shortcut replaces your clipboard instead, and you paste the polished version back. One extra paste.
Is my Pro Key safe to paste into the shortcut?
Yes. The key is stored in a tiny file inside your own iCloud Drive (Shortcuts folder), so it stays on your devices and only ever goes to droprompt.com. If you ever want to reset it, delete the file droprompt-key.txt from iCloud Drive → Shortcuts, then run the shortcut again — it'll ask for a fresh one.
The shortcut didn't ask me for the key — how do I enter it manually?
No problem, you can set it by hand. Two easy ways:

Option A — edit the shortcut (fastest):
  1. Open the Shortcuts app and find droPrompt Enhance.
  2. Tap the ⋯ (three dots) on the shortcut tile to open the editor.
  3. Scroll to the top and look for the Ask for Input / Text action that holds the key (it's labeled Pro Key or droprompt-key).
  4. Tap the field, paste your key, then tap Done in the top-right.
Option B — drop the key file into iCloud:
  1. Copy your Pro Key from the box at the top of this page.
  2. Open the Files app (or Finder → iCloud Drive on Mac).
  3. Go to iCloud Drive → Shortcuts.
  4. Create a new text file named exactly droprompt-key.txt, paste your key inside, and save.
  5. Run the shortcut again — it'll pick up the key from the file automatically.

Is my prompt private?
Your prompt is sent to droPrompt for enhancement only. We don't share it with anyone, and you can see your history any time on your dashboard. Full details in our privacy policy.
Can I trigger it from the Share Sheet instead of triple-tap?
Yes. After installing, open the shortcut → tap ⓘ → turn on Show in Share Sheet. Then in any app: select text → Share → droPrompt Enhance.
Does it work on Android or Windows?
Not yet — this shortcut is Apple only (iPhone, iPad, and Mac). On Android or Windows, the droPrompt Chrome extension works inside any AI tool's website.
